We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Procurement Officer to join our fast-paced procurement team. Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist in sourcing suppliers and obtaining competitive quotations;
- Prepare purchase orders and ensure proper approvals are in place;
- Track orders and ensure timely delivery of goods and services;
- Maintain accurate procurement records and supplier databases;
- Assist in evaluating supplier performance and maintaining relationships;
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure procurement needs are met;
- Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and procedures;
- Assist in handling customs clearance, import documentation, or logistics coordination, where applicable;
- Assist in inventory management and stock replenishment;
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures;
- Other related tasks assigned by a supervisor.
Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related fields.
Additional skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities;
- Effective communication and negotiation skills;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and procurement software;
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment;
- Familiarity with supply chain and purchasing principles;
- Excellent organizational and communication skills;
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Working experience:
- Minimum of 1–2 years of relevant experience in procurement or administrative support;
