Job Position: Site Engineer

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and technically competent Site Engineer who is responsible for validating on-site surveys, preparing site designs, producing as-built documentation, and developing  AutoCAD drawings to support the installation, commissioning,  and integration of equipment, from network nodes and antenna systems through to complete telecom solutions.

The role applies data-driven insights to effectively oversee surveys, network design, civil works, and telecom installations, ensuring full adherence to Ericsson quality standards.

The role also ensures compliance with legal, financial, and Ericsson Occupational Health and Safety requirements, while protecting product and information security through established processes and tools.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Design and create Telecom Site Survey checklists in line with project and rollout requirements, and communicate them to Authorized Service Provider (ASP) teams.
• Lead and coordinate telecom site surveys with ASP teams, ensuring alignment with project requirements, proposals, and deployment flows.
• Prepare and validate Technical Site Survey Reports (TSSRs) for RAN and microwave sites.
• Validate telecom site survey details, including infrastructure, power, and OHS requirements, and map site-specific solutions accordingly.
• Prepare telecom site and hardware feasibility assessments, including final hardware proposals based on the technical Bill of Quantity (BoQ).
• Prepare radio and microwave site engineering documents, including Site Installation Documents, as-built documentation, and BoQs.
• Use and maintain Ericsson tools related to site surveys and BoQs throughout the project lifecycle.
• Verify and confirm telecom site acceptance requirements.
• Create technical drawings and specifications using AutoCAD and Visio.
• Ensure quality assurance across site engineering deliverables.
• Provide technical support and clarification for telecom site engineering queries.
• Execute site audits, compile findings in the relevant database, and distribute audit reports and dashboards to stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related engineering field. 

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in English is required.
• Proficiency in French is an advantage.
• End-to-end process knowledge of telecom site build and network rollout activities.
• Hands-on experience preparing and validating site engineering documents, including TSSRs, Site Installation Documents, as-built documentation, and site acceptance records.
• Experience using AutoCAD.
• Experience with Revit is an advantage.
• Experience with Ericsson RAN and microwave products.
• Experience in Radio Access Network project management is an advantage

Years of Experience:

• Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience, preferably in the telecommunications sector.
